cardigans or lightweight jackets with loosefitting trousers or under the knee skirts would be comfortable. I have at one time enjoyed the comfort of ann taylor's clothing. In the past when one of my employers did her spring cleaning she gave me a few pieces. they were the most flattering I had ever had the privilege of wearing. the interesting part was, we were both two different sizes and shapes but the  clothing complimented us equally. I also liked the leggings and stockings they were very sturdy. I am glad  I found out about this site my coworker's jest that I am in need of a fashion makeover.

I'm not sure if this comment will be shared since all the comments seem to be overwhelmingly positive.  

Two years ago I would have said that Loft was perfect for teachers but, this season, the outfits are just silly, fussy and hard to wear. I loved Loft but the fit of the Julie pants has changed to be extremely unflattering. I'm hoping they change it back. I'm not the only one who has complained.

The outfit presented as suitable for a classroom has no sleeves (dress code problem) and the skirt is too short and narrow (need to be able to walk quickly and sit down without exposing too much thigh) not to mention just fussy looking. As for other clothes, nothing can convince me that ruffles under the armpit look professional or even attractive.  

You can't please everyone but just my two cents...if you want my business back, please bring back the old Julie fit and go back to the feminine and sophisticated styling of about two years ago.  (The first season I hated was when you did the preppy colors, kelly green, red, navy, yellow) This season's washed out pastels, lack of structure and excess of ruffles just don't don't do it for me either.

I am VERY happy that Loft has responded to complaints about excessive photoshopping of their models.  I can see the difference. Here's hoping that Loft continues to move in the right direction.

Loft in Augusta GA does not honor teacher discount every time I shop. Every time I try to use it they tell me that I only use it on full priced and promotional. But the page says anytime that you shop. I know that I can not use it in combination with coupons but any other time I shop I should be able to use it right? PLEASE NOTIFY THE FIELD....they did not get or did understand the memo. Thanks!!! BTW.....I (still) love LOFT. Lets just clear up that matter.

I love the skirts that are light weight. I've worn them all summer just to make sure I can move around in them easily in the classroom when school starts. Anything that allows me to move easily and bend over, squat down, stretch across, or sit modestly is great. So far most skirts fit that qualification.
